Even the most seasoned locals can run low on New York restaurant and bar inspiration. Once you've hit your eatery-to-watering hole stride, it's hard to think outside the box. In need of a Fall foodie refresh? Day three of the New York City Wine and Food Festival provided exactly that (and whole lot of tacos)!
Master sommelier Laura DePasquale lead a fascinating panel discussion with six (although, I'm saving the sixth panel member for a special post) established NYC tastemakers. To be more specific, fellow master sommelier Laura Maniec, Union Square Hospitality Group wine director John Ragan, Union Square Cafe general manager Sam Lipp, Jean-Georges Group wine director Bernie Sun, and Lure and Burger & Barrel wine director Natalie Tapken revealed their after-hours hangouts, favorite restaurants to visit on those rare days off, and where it is they have to go when it's cause for celebration.
