Eddie's Pizza Truck For Urban Decay and Other Beauty Food Trucks NYC
Food Truck Trend Alert: Beauty on Wheels

Fashion Week keeps many a fashionable New Yorker on his or her toes, and sometimes there's just not enough time in the day to cover all the fashion and beauty bases. Luckily, we have some creative types who want to bring the goodies to us. Case in point: brands like Urban Decay, L'Oreal Paris, Cynthia Rowley, Manolo Blahnik, and Barbie will be hitting the streets to bring on-the-go Fashion Week folk the necessities they need most: sustenance and style! Here are our five favorite food truck reinventions to look out for this week. How convenient and chic.
- Urban Decay introduces "Pizza with an Edge" with famed Eddie's Pizza Truck to serve lunch to the busy set at Lincoln Center. Urban Decay branded ticket holders can indulge in beautified versions of Eddie’s famous thin-crust bar pie, with menu options like "The Naked" and "The Smokey," and exclusive daily specials. If you don't have a UD ticket yet, style spotters will be handing out tickets in the Lincoln Center promenade. You can also follow @UrbanDecay411 for ticket giveaways. If you're being held "captive" inside Lincoln Center and can’t make it to the truck, the Urban delivery option allows you to tweet your order in: just include the nearest entryway location and your order! A girl’s gotta eat, right? The truck will be stationed at Lincoln Center on Sept. 10 to Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
- L'Oréal Paris will pay homage to all things New York City by cruising around town in its Elnett car. The satin hairspray — a cult favorite of runway stylists and a backstage must have — car will tour the city's most popular neighborhoods and provide New Yorkers and tourists alike with the chance to win some of NYC's most iconic experiences and some of the necessary staples to make it though the Fashion Week madness! Follow the Elnett car at @LOrealParisUSA to find out where it is and drop by for a free sample and style touchup. The car kicks into gear on Fashion's Night Out from 6 to 9 p.m. and will be out and about every day during Fashion Week.
- As we mentioned last week, Cynthia Rowley is taking fashion emergency to the next level. She has teamed up once again with Band-Aid to bring fashionistas a traveling "Glambulance." Launching during Fashion's Night Out, the fashion SOS mobile will feature a hairstylist, renowned makeup artist Mickey Williams, and, of course, Rowley's fashionable first-aid kits, complete with her chic collection of designer Band-Aids.
- Barbie has partnered with four fabulous designers for a Fashion's Night Out scavenger hunt. Ride the free Gray Line double decker buses and stop at Alice + Olivia, Alexis Bittar, Tracy Reese, and Rogan. If you find the Barbie-sized version of each designer's exclusive FNO outfit, you can enter the QR code and be entered to win the life-size version of the outfit for yourself. Catch the bus at the corner of 59th Street and Eighth Avenue from 6 to 11 p.m.
- Track down the Manolo milkshake truck as it travels across the city all afternoon and enjoy his favorite treat. During the evening, swing by the Manolo Blahnik (31 W. 54th St., 212-582-3007) store for the unveiling of a special shoe designed by none other than Sarah Jessica Parker. She'll be in house from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. signing autographs. All of this takes place tomorrow, but more important, here's the exact milkshake truck timetable rundown: 42nd Street and Broadway from noon to 1:30 p.m.; Washington Street and West 14th Street from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.; Prince Street and West Broadway from 3:45 p.m. to 4 p.m.; 58th Street and 5th Avenue from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Manolo Blahnik, 31 West 54th Street from 6:15 p.m. to 9 p.m.
