Fashion's Night Out is near and with it comes the chic partnerships, celebrity in-store appearances, and endless crowds for an extended night of shopping. Are you excited? I vacillate between loving the concept and hating the gridlock of too many events in one short span of time. I digress. Here's some news that made me particularly excited to have Fashion's Night Out on the horizon: Lower East Side's beloved Hester Street Fair, created by MTV news personality Suchin Pak, will "live" inside Henri Bendel's (712 Fifth Ave., 212-247-1100) on Sept. 8. What a juxtaposition of posh wares, indie knickknacks, high-end counters, and local empanadas, paletas, and Luke's Lobster rolls. I like the idea of merging street food culture with something wholly different — it's a hands-on market-meets-covet-with-your-eyes-only world. As the Fashion's Night Out events start to reveal themselves, will you consider this a must-visit priority?
