Looks like the star-studded set can't stay away from clean-plate-club-approved Bubby's Pie Company (120 Hudson St., 212-219-0666; 1 Main St., 718-222-0666). The Tribeca eatery serves as one of Jay-Z and Beyoncé's neighborhood spots, Jessica Alba and daughters Honor and Haven lunched there over the weekend, and tomorrow, great American writer Mark Twain will make an appearance.
Feel like going full classic comfort food cuisine ahead? To "mark" the occasion, Bubby's Main Street location is holding its first ever Fall dinner symposium tomorrow at 7 p.m. (tickets here). In Bubby's words, the autumnal feast is their way to "gallantly attempt, within the bounds of sanity and reality, to create a dinner based on Mark Twain's extraordinary list of his favorite American foods" from his nonfiction work A Tramp Abroad. Twain certainly didn't skimp, so take a look at the 10 (out of 27) items we're most excited to see on tomorrow night's menu.
