Jim Henson Muppets Exhibit at Museum of the Moving Image NYC in July
On Our Radar: Muppets Take Manhattan at the Museum of the Moving Image
As if PopSugar's interview with Jason Segel on the set of The Muppets movie wasn't enough to get my inner child wildly excited for a resurgence of Muppet love, news of the Museum of the Moving Image's (36-01 35 Ave., 718-777-6888) upcoming Jim Henson exhibit certainly did me in.

On July 16, take a walk down memory lane with Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog at the Jim Henson's Fantastic World exhibit. Ever wondered how Henson dreamed up such creative characters and outlandish sets? You'll be able to get a thorough inside look at his world through puppets, drawings, animations, storyboards, props, screenings, performances, and exactly 120 Henson artifacts. Among those 120 bits and bobs are 15 iconic original puppets (Bert, Ernie, and the gang), memorabilia from his film Labyrinth, and materials from his Muppet followup Fraggle Rock. While Jason Segel's ode to The Muppets is slated for a Fall release, this exhibit will tide the young (and silly) at heart over until the next round of puppet fever begins.
