Even though there are already nine proper MAC Cosmetics stores in the whole of New York City, not to mention countless in-store displays within Manhattan's department stores, there's nothing like a MAC Cosmetics Coming Soon billboard plastered between the Gant and Sunglass Hut on Bleecker Street to bring a smile to my face. But that's just me being completely honest. We all know how prompt city construction is, so here's hoping that that December 2010 deadline is the truth. Perfect timing, too — all of New York's beauty-obsessed can head to the West Village during holiday shopping errands to restock on Viva Glam lipstick and mineralized skin finish.
