More than 25 of Sol Lewitt's gorgeous three-dimensional works, fittingly called "structures," have been placed throughout City Hall Park's lush landscape. Some are more striking than others in design but the real delight can be found in how natural and artful each piece looks against its backdrop. The structures are constructed from materials like aluminum and steel, and even though they loom like giants, Lewitt continues to create minimalistic masterpieces.
The project, commissioned by New York's Public Art Fund, will be on park display until Dec. 3.
