Post Your Wish on the Times Square Wishing Wall, See It Poured Over Crowd During New Year's Eve Ball Drop
Make It Rain (in Times Square) With Well Wishes for 2011

You could say I have a thing for colorful walls, post-it notes, and New Year's Eve in Times Square. But what's wrong with that? Pin your wish to the Times Square Wishing Wall (1560 Broadway, 212-768-1560) before Dec. 31 and see yours (plus thousands of others) flutter down in the midnight confetti pour. I love the idea of my wish (yes, it's still free rent and a French bulldog) floating in a sea of festive colors at the biggest New Year's Eve party in the country — and who knows? Maybe someone will hear/read my plea and become my fairy godmother. A girl can dream. More than that, though, is how insightful this wall is. People from all over the city, country, and world have jotted down their silly and serious hopes for 2011 all year long. Luckily, you still have more than two weeks to get yours documented, too. If you take even the quickest glance of the wall, you'll notice that most of us yearn for the same things: good health, a warm home, and, um, wanting to be famous. So what are some of the things you're wishing for in 2011? Tell me on Twitter, too!
Apart from making it rain, let's all make a wish that no one suffers from extreme paper cut injuries after the notes are dropped over Times Square.
