On a regular basis, I find myself having those uniquely personal moments — on the subway, on my way home, in the midst of grabbing drinks at my favorite neighborhood bar, you get the idea — where I think to myself, "I love New York City." That feeling of home euphoria is a pretty darn important reminder, especially in those other moments where you can't find a cab, the train is permanently delayed, and the Trader Joe's line threatens to choke you as you grocery shop, of just how amazingly frenetic and fantastic this city is. And I'm more than a little thankful to live here, for better or for worse.
To continue on this path of gratitude, I want to share my (abbreviated list of) reasons why I thank my lucky stars I get to work hard and play hard in NYC, even when I can't actually see the stars in the Manhattan sky. Hope this gratitude fest finds you happy, healthy, warm — and most of all, enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.
