Last night, Studio 450 (450 W. 31st St., 212-290-1400) was transformed into a panoramic smorgasbord of New York City A-list chef fare. The reason? Groove With Me's seventh annual Tap & Tapas Spring benefit with guest of honor Chef Tom Colicchio. Great food for a great cause. All were there to support and raise funds for free, after-school dance classes and performance opportunities for low-income, at-risk girls in East Harlem.
Take a look at the signature dishes served up by some of your favorite chefs (and make mental notes on what to order next time you head to Colicchio & Sons). Although the evening provided a delicious spread of inventive tapas, the real cherry on top was watching the talented young ladies of Groove With Me perform several fabulous tap, jazz, and modern numbers!
