November is certainly off to a running start (literally). Now that more than 45,000 runners have traversed the five boroughs in yesterday's 42nd annual ING New York City Marathon, we can hone in on some other equally — but maybe not so physically demanding — exciting things happening this month.
I consider this eleventh hour month the gateway between Fall's last glory days and the holiday chaos meltdown that awaits us all in December. As such, we can look forward to everything from a grilled cheese takeover on the Lower East Side, a citywide Performa Arts celebration, the fifth annual Quidditch World Cup (yes, I'm dead serious), the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, and the Rockefeller Center tree lighting.
